What We Do
The mission of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enrich the student experience at Jackson-Via Elementary. To achieve this, we build relationships within the school and community, volunteer our time at the school and in the classroom and support and organize programs and activities.
How We Raise Money
The Jackson-Via PTO sponsors fundraisers and events every school year. We also participate in “cash back programs” such as Box Tops for Education, Campbell Soup Labels and Grocery Links through Kroger, Harris Teeter, and Giant Community Partners and eScrip.
How We Use Donations
Donations are used to support enrichment goals established by the PTO Board and voted on by the PTO membership. Please attend our school PTO meetings for opportunities to vote on how the donations are distributed.
